Starting Stork Connections has been one of the most rewarding and challenging journeys of my life. Although I’ve worked in the surrogacy industry for over a decade, launching my own agency brought a whole new set of lessons—and I’ve embraced every one of them. This is my third surrogacy agency experience, but the first one I built from the ground up. That perspective has been invaluable in shaping how Stork Connections operates and why our commitment to ethical surrogacy is at the core of everything we do.

Like any new business, there has been a learning curve. Despite my years of experience, I quickly realized that there is always more to learn. In an industry where competition can be fierce, it’s easy to fall into the mindset of guarding resources. That’s why I made it a priority to build a team of individuals who have personal experience as surrogates or intended parents. This is where my background in running a successful insurance brokerage became incredibly valuable.
